Maker Royale: Game On! (6.3-6.7)
This year's camp is packed with more exciting builds than ever! During this action packed experience, campers will learn skills like planning, designing, building, and coding as they make multiple projects and put them to the test in the game arena! At the end of the week, they get to leave with new friends, some awesome new skills, their projects, and a robot too!
WHAT DO CAMPERS NEED?
Most things are provide but students will need:
- Sack lunch each day.
- Water bottle
- There own transportation to and from camp.
We will provide:
- All materials (campers keep their builds)
- All tools
- Computers for programming
- Snacks
Campers are welcome (but not required) to bring:
- Their own laptop, phone, or tablet
- Their own computer mouse (if they prefer that over a touch pad)
Camper should NOT bring:
-Anything that would not be allowed on a school campus
WHEN & WHERE IS IT?
Maker Royale is a day camp that takes place daily from 9am - 3pm in the Stewarts Creek Middle School STEM room (908).
- Enter the Stewarts Creek Campus from Poplar Wood Rd.
- The elementary school will be on the right, the high school will be on the left.
- Just past the elementary school is the Middle School.
- Turn right just past the elementary school.
- The road will run between the elementary and middle schools.
- There is a parking lot on the left just beside the middle school.
- Turn in and go to the end of the lot.
- Use the building entrance there. (We will have a sign outside.)
- It will be the second room on the left.
Maker Royale: 3D Printing Camp (6.10-6.14 & 6.24-6.28)
At our 3D Printing camp, campers will dive deep into the growing world of addative manufacturing (3D printing) as they assemble and learn to use their very own 3D printer (Anycubic Neo or comprable). Campers will spend the week printing amazing things and learning about how to get the most out of their 3D printer. At the end of the week, campers take home their 3D printer and a new set of skills. We offer two repeat weeks of this camp so you can pick the week that fits your schedule best!
